Apigenin is a natural compound belonging to the bioflavonoid group, found in various vegetables, fruits, spices, and herbs. It is particularly abundant in chamomile, parsley, artichokes, celery, and citrus fruits. A dietary supplement containing apigenin can be a valuable addition to a plant-based diet.

The apigenin in the dietary supplement is extracted from grapefruit peel – a rich source of this compound. One daily serving (1 capsule) contains 55.6 mg of grapefruit peel extract (Citrus paradisi), DER 45:1, standardized to at least 90% apigenin. Each capsule contains 50 mg of pure apigenin.
