After filling a PET bottle with water, screw on the watering spike. Tilt the device sideways and insert it into the plant's pot. If the soil is hard, it is advisable to make a hole in the soil with a stick before inserting the watering spike. When the soil in the pot becomes too dry, oxygen enters the watering spike, and it releases the necessary amount of water to the plant.
